It takes a very unique perspective to think falling through the sky with only a thin tether between life and death is fun! This quilt depicts the fisheye photo Faith took on her latest jump to test her brand-new camera and selfie stick.
I want my quilts to start having the feel of comic book splash pages. Splash pages are full-page illustrations in a comic or graphic novel that are used for emphasis in the story. They have to convey power, action, or drama quickly and clearly to the viewer. Splash pages are powerful, and I want to convey that same power in my quilts. Leap of Faith was my first attempt to show action and drama with fabric, and I couldn’t be happier with the result.
