Goats make me laugh and surfing intrigues me. So, after a vacation in Hawaii where we saw tons of wild goats and lots of surfers, I decided to combine the two in a humorous piece of art. A bit of research revealed that goats, being so sure-footed, can actually surf quite well. And in fact, surfing goats is a real thing in California! Who knew, huh?

The other curiosity is that goat yoga has become a national craze since 2016. So, of course goat yoga had to work its way into this picture.

This is the first of my goat/beach themed pieces of art. I created them using bits and pieces of fabric that I heat-bonded to a wooden surface. I painted all the signs with fabric paint.
