A pair of bald eagles enjoy a brisk morning flight over a show-covered landscape.

This serene wintry scene was the first of six fabric pictures I made for my college thesis. I came up with the idea for this picture about a week before the end of my Christmas vacation my senior year. I ended up working 15 hour days for a solid week to get it finished in time to fly back to school. I was even up at 4am the morning of my flight, hand-dying the sky and finishing the assembly. Fortunately, I completed the whole thing about an hour before I had to leave. I rolled it up in muslin and took it on the plane with me as my carry-on.
